I went to Kew Gardens yesterday; it was beautiful and you should see my pics on facebook.  I'm in the midst of a financial crisis: until I get back from italy and germany, I don't know how many pounds I'll have left and I'm kind of freaking out because every attempt to save money fails (partially due to my photography teacher).  I'm beginning to wonder if this side trip was worth it.  I mean, I've dreamed of seeing neuschwanstein for as long as I have known the castle, but geez it's expensive.

Cheerio!

HOLY CRAP.  Someone forgot to tell  me that the Globe is the COOLEST theatre in probably the ENTIRE world.  I went and saw Titus Andronicus there (which I don't know why we don't study that in school--it's awesome) and was a groundling.  Yes, my feet hurt, but that was made up for by the actors weaving in and out of the crowds as the play saw fit, and by the fact that some of the more dehydrated girls didn't know that locking your knees makes you faint, so they were falling like flies.  Sad, but amusing all the same.  And did you know the workers there are volunteers?

In other news, I have thus far made my own negatives and prints, and feel like quite the photographer, though there is much room for improvement.  I have this rather amusing one of a couple completely ignoring the artifacts in the British Museum (making out), and then another I'm rather proud of that is a statue of Venus with the light just so, so that she looks alive.

Well, that is all for now.

Cheers!

Update!  It's official!  I'm also spending a two days in Venice and a day at Neuschwanstien while I'm here! YAY!

Wow.

I have been so busy since I set foot here.  We took a sightseeing tour, I've met all kinds of people, High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge are awesome, and Marks and Spencer's ROCKS.

My photography teacher is really cool, he was able to teach me, ME, of all people everything about my camera in about 20 minutes.  He showed us his portfolio; he's only a teacher on the side, but even so, a very good one.  He's taken pictures of the likes of Geoffery Rush and Angelina Jolie.

Talking to people had been really hard, but I met a really sweet, cool girl, Paris, today, and we clicked like old friends right off.

The dorms here are oddly shaped but they're a lot bigger than I expected, so that's awesome.  I was even lucky enough to get a pretty decent roommate.  Her name is Meagan and we get along pretty well.

Saturday I went to my first pub and ordered my first legal drink: rum and coke.  I sucked it down so fast that one of the guys (Meagan's friend Varoon) bought me another one out of shock.

I think I will be going to see my favorite castle, Neuschwanstien, before it's all over with.  I may got to Venice as well, as flights over here are a lot cheaper if you know the right airline to go with.

I felt so awesome today when I went into Henry Nichols and bought something from the Clinique counter like Princess Diana might have done.  I probably wouldn't have, but it's this special melanin reducer stuff for my red, sundamaged cheeks that I HATE.

I love you all and will post again soon, but now it's time to sleep.

Cheers!

Well, I'm here.  Forgive the crappiness of the typing should it occur, but this keyboard is weird.

London weather is fantastically weird.  Since seven this morning I have seen clouds, pure sunshine, rain, sunshine, hail, clouds, and rain.  I swear it changes like every 15 minutes.  It's great.  Thus far I have figured out that I probably won't stay on the weekends.  my photography class is tues, wed, and thurs, leaving me a four day weekend to, you know, go to ireland and scotland and italy and germany, etc.  I haven't checked intra-Euro flights yet, but i hear they're pretty cheap.  Well, between emails and such I've used way too much time and I am in desperate need of a shower.

Cheers!
